Our Learning Offer

VCN Consultancy Services design and deliver a range of bespoke learning and development solutions. We know one size does not fit all, and organisations require learning solutions that are developed to include their specific values, needs, brand and image. These solutions can be developed with an organisation, department or individual’s needs in mind.

  • Organisation-wide: Some of our clients require a development programme that is suited for delivery to a large audience, numerous times. We work with your requirements to develop materials that meet this demand and are aligned with business targets and relevant to a diverse audience of staff and managers.
  • Group/Department Level: When a client requires a specific group to be developed, our team will work in collaboration with all stakeholders, including the target audience themselves, to ensure the design is specific to their development needs.
  • Individual Level: The design required here is often the most work-intensive but also attracts the highest return on investment (ROI). At this level each individual is recommended a unique programme of short core and elective modules aimed at addressing their specific development needs.

Learning Channels

Our learning programmes can be delivered in a variety of formats so they work best for you and your organisation. The range of channels include:

  • Face to face workshops which are short (1/2 days, 1 day or 2 days), focussed and engaging sessions – not typical classroom learning.
  • Each course includes self-study materials and can be supported by online learning resources such as toolkits, videos and webinars.

  • Experiential learning – on-the-job coaching, secondments, project work, job rotation, work shadowing.
  • Group workshops – building skills in a safe environment.
  • Action learning sets – small group with facilitator considers a live issue and works together to devise a solution.
  • Knowledge sharing – discussion groups, on-line/intranet forums.
  • E-learning – interactive modules for individual use

The modular nature of the courses means they can be stand-alone or be combined as part of a development programme specific to each individual’s professional development. Our workshops are built around immersive and experiential learning to ensure knowledge retention and quicker application back into the workplace.
